Fashionistas rejoice! Designers are showcasing their new collections as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and also embracing digital. The industry, which has begun to communicate with the everyday customer on Twitter and Facebook, is also streaming their shows to the masses. You do not have to be on the A-List to be a part of the exclusive fashion scene!

The social media world was all about “Instant” last week. Google released its Instant Search feature, which displays live search results as you type. Additionally, a Stanford University student created a YouTube Instant prototype, which allows users to search for videos as results pop up with each letter typed. Lastly, there is an iTunes Instant. Wow- what’s next?

Facebook has overtaken Google in usage. In August, people spent a total of 41.1 million minutes on the social networking site, as opposed to the 39.8 million minutes people spent on all of Google’s sites combined, including YouTube and Gmail. Do you think Google can reclaim the top spot?
