Michael Wurzer calls for a marketing-driven approach to MLS data standards. As marketers who need to deal with MLS organizations in every market we enter, we could not agree more.

It was interesting to read about the SEO and traffic wars among the big online RE players this week. Lots of drama. But at the end of it all, we’re not sure what it all amounts to. Traffic is great, but it would be nice to see some talk about revenue.

Google’s launch of Latitude this week’s w a big deal. For an industry whose mantra is “location, location, location,” the ability to follow friends while in the field holds some interesting possibilities. There’s also an advertising play in the making here. Greg Sterling provides the best summary on the product we saw this week.
