The countdown is on and the finish line for 2011 is clearly in sight now.
It is hard to believe that it has been over a month since Wendy Forsythe penned a post about The Last 60 Days of the year. We are now a mere three weeks away from the big ball dropping and the calendar flipping into 2012. The final push is upon us. The question is:
Do you have it in you to drive yourself through these last days?
As the saying goes, “Time flies when you are having fun.” Fun in business means you are active and making things happen. Time also flies when you are doing nothing, as in enjoying the so-called “December lull.” What are you doing?
The good news is, and yes there is always good news, it is not too late to hit your business goals for 2011. You know why? Because the lull only exists if you let it. December after all is a month just like all the others.
So the question is: What you are going to do in the next three weeks to ensure you hit your goals for this year?
Are you going to drag your feet across the finish line (full of too much Eggnog) or are you going to pick up stride and get a few more things checked off your 2011 list?
The choice is yours, but think about this: it takes 21 days to develop a habit – good or bad – and we only have 19 days left within the year. Procrastination is not an option. Determine today what you can do within your business to build positive habits that will allow you to sit back, relax and enjoy the holidays minus the worry of what is to come in 2012.
