During yesterday’s Fusion 2015 opening day brand updates in Las Vegas, Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate president and CEO Sherry Chris announced a new national philanthropic partnership with the home rehabilitation non-profit Rebuilding Together in effort to raise awareness of the organization’s mission and the communities it serves.
The partnership was formed as a way for our network of amazing affiliated agents to get engaged with and help out the communities in which they routinely work. Rebuilding Together provides critical home rehabilitation services for those unable to maintain their homes, including elderly, disabled and low-income homeowners. These services can include repairs, accessibility renovations, energy-efficient upgrades and more.
According to Chris, “Aligning with Rebuilding Together helps our franchisees demonstrate to the communities in which they serve that Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is focused on helping to make their lives and communities better.”
Some of the key highlights from her announcement:
- The brand has a developed a new Marketing Kit to help Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate affiliated brokerages and network members connect with their local Rebuilding Together affiliate.
- Our network members can get involved by sponsoring a build, hosting a fundraising event, donating on behalf of clients.
- In order to drive awareness and fundraising, a landing page for donations to Rebuilding Together has been created at BHGRErebuildingtogether.com.
