It was exciting to witness the energy and creativity that is expelled when over 500 people are connected to fresh, innovative and established ideas within the industry.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key presentations offered was Amy Chorew\u2019s<em> \u201cBuilding a Profitable Online Marketing Presence.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This article takes a deeper dive into this topic and describes what <strong>steps top brokers and agents take to master their online presence <\/strong>and how you can borrow from their playbook to <a title=\"create strategic social media marketing plan\" href=\"https:\/\/bhgrealestateblog.com\/2012\/08\/13\/the-how-when-and-what-of-social-media-marketing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">create a strategic marketing plan for online success<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Below is an <strong>online marketing checklist<\/strong> that will help you maximize your efforts and build a powerful online presence!<\/p>\n<h2><b>Website\/Blog:<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>SEO:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>What are the keywords people are researching when looking for your service and business? Use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/adwords.google.com\/o\/Targeting\/Explorer?__u=1000000000&amp;__c=1000000000&amp;ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS#search.none\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Google keyword tracker\u00a0<\/b><\/a><b>to find relevant terms researched by your potential clients. <\/b><\/li>\n<li>Have a content strategy in place \u2013 through blog posts and articles that will offer fresh and pertinent content to readers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><b>Blog:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a plan to post regularly (at least once per week)<\/li>\n<li>Check to see if your WordPress plugins are updated. Plugins are tools to extend the functionality of WordPress and make adding functions such as social media icons easy. [Important note: Make sure you have added an SEO plugin such as <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/extend\/plugins\/wordpress-seo\/\">WordPress SEO by Yoast<\/a> and a security plugin like <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/extend\/plugins\/wordfence\/\">Wordfence<\/a> to protect against malware and other dangerous code injection..<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t forget to use Keywords\/Tagging\/Categorizing on posts.
