NAR also looked at the course of action of prospective buyers once they conduct their online search. According to the poll, nearly half of prospective homebuyers said that they would conduct a walkthrough of the homes they saw online, while 21{0a8e414e4f0423ce9f97e7209435b0fa449e6cffaf599cce0c556757c159a30c} of them admitted to having done so. These figures show that buyers have confidence in the Internet<\/a> and the information found at their fingertips. Indeed, consumer online search has boosted the options for prospective buyers and eliminated the sole dependence on older methods of research.<\/p>\n

The tremendous growth and prospective opportunities in online real estate<\/strong> has not escaped the attention of real estate agents. A good number of agents have responded well to consumer online searches<\/em> by getting involved in web technologies that meet the changing habits of consumers. A separate poll that was conducted about real estate agents by the National Association of Realtors showed that nearly half of them would buy Smartphone\u2019s to stay in touch with customers.<\/p>\n
