href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/money\/economy\/housing\/story\/2011-09-25\/two-housing-markets\/50493406\/1\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">USA Today reports.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 Traditionally, homes priced over $1 million and those below market rise and fall together.\u00a0 But today they are moving in opposite directions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/bhgrealestateblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/home2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"215\" height=\"128\" \/>Speaking of opposite, you likely wouldn\u2019t consider a mobile home to be in the \u201cabove $1 million segment\u201d but an agent just sold the <a href=\"http:\/\/realestate.aol.com\/blog\/2011\/09\/15\/sold-most-expensive-mobile-home-in-america\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">most expensive mobile home<\/span><\/a> in America for $2 million in cash (and the owner still must pay to lease the land it sits on!).\u00a0 It is important to note that this mobile home is in Malibu, California with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Members of the House of Representatives are aiming to serve those who serve.\u00a0 This week, lawmakers called for struggling homeowners who are in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2011\/09\/27\/us-usa-housing-military-idUSTRE78Q2HZ20110927\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">military<\/span><\/a> to have access to the Home Affordable Modification Program and other foreclosure prevention services.\u00a0 \u00a0While most servicemen and women are not behind on their mortgages, they are often called to relocate quickly, and have to sell their homes for more than what they owe, thus increasingly going into foreclosure.\u00a0 It\u2019s good to see those who give so much get some assistance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Have your in-laws become live-in laws?\u00a0 Today\u2019s economic realities are making multi-generational housing a necessity for many across the country.\u00a0 I found <a analysis on how to live peacefully under these trying conditions to be interesting.\u00a0 It is worth a recommendation to any clients who find themselves suddenly in a multi-generational home situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In an interesting and far-sighted trend, some baby boomers, lured by low prices and interest rates, are snapping up cheap <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/galleries\/2011\/real_estate\/1109\/gallery.retirement_home_deals\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">retirement homes<\/span><\/a>, even while they still have several working years ahead of them.\u00a0 To cover the extra mortgage, many are renting out their future abode to long-term or short-term (i.e. vacation) tenants. \u00a0For those agents in <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/galleries\/2011\/real_estate\/1109\/gallery.best_places_retire.moneymag\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">CNN Money\u2019s 25 Best Places to Retire<\/span><\/a>, are you seeing this buyer emerging?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Each homebuyer is unique and it is impossible to know every detail that will put a glimmer in their eye, but the better you get to know each client, the more successful you are going to be as an agent. \u00a0For example, if you come across cat people, a niche trend emerging in Japan that could be applicable here is the <a href=\"http:\/\/realestate.aol.com\/blog\/2011\/09\/26\/cat-houses-a-trend-that-gives-us-pause\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">pet-friendly home design<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 Or what about pairing a homebuyer who enjoys a good party with a seller who is offering a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/44583693\/ns\/business-real_estate\/#.ToSXqHPHH9k\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">$1,000
