Their success in a crowded field is often dependent on their social media savvy. <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2011\/07\/21\/social-media-food-trucks-marketing\/\">Mashable<\/a> looked at five of the most innovative campaigns. One standout is <a href=\"http:\/\/mexicue.com\/\">Mexicue<\/a>, a BBQ truck that crowdsources menu items via a Facebook app.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Speaking of social media campaigns, <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2011\/07\/19\/amex-facebook-likes\/\">American Express<\/a> has introduced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btobonline.com\/article\/20110722\/STRATEGY03\/307229997\/amex-launches-targeted-offers-app-via-facebook\">a new Facebook app<\/a>, called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2011-07-19\/amex-facebook-page-lets-users-get-customized-discounts-offers.html\">Link, Like, Love,<\/a> which \u201cuses a cardholder\u2019s Facebook interests, including\u00a0 \u2018likes\u2019 and \u2018check-ins\u2019 in order to offer only the most relevant and convenient discounts,\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.forbes.com\/moneybuilder\/2011\/07\/20\/link-like-love-sharing-is-caring-with-amex-and-facebooks-newest-app\/\">according to Forbes.<\/a> In these days of Groupon and Living Social, I see these personalized deals being very successful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Are you pleased with Facebook? A new study gauging <a href=\"http:\/\/news.cnet.com\/8301-1023_3-20080651-93\/study-facebook-at-bottom-on-customer-satisfaction\/\">customer\u2019s satisfaction <\/a>on websites, social media sites and search engines found that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcmag.com\/article2\/0,2817,2388743,00.asp\">Facebook comes in last<\/a> amongst its social media peers. Even so, this does not seem to have an effect <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/press\/info.php?statistics\">on the time spent<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Do you shop on your iPad or other tablet device?
