Social media<\/a> once again became the primary means for citizens in a country in civil turmoil to coordinate and to take their concerns public.\u00a0 In Egypt this week, people took to the streets and to the Tweets<\/a> to share their objections to their government.\u00a0 One Facebook page for the protest had over 80,000 followers.\u00a0 The websites played such a major role, that the government blocked<\/a> Facebook and Twitter and turned off cell phone service in an attempt to control the crowds.\u00a0 The situation in Egypt is so very serious.\u00a0 I hope for peace there soon.<\/p>\n

With more than 400 tweets per minute<\/a> containing a link to a YouTube video, it\u2019s hard to keep up on the latest and greatest clips.\u00a0 Luckily, Youtube has acquired fflick<\/a>, to aggregate real-time Twitter and Facebook conversations on about videos in one place.\u00a0 Join the conversation!<\/p>\n
