However, you can do things to increase those odds.<\/li><li>Outside of luck (which isn\u2019t the most actionable podcast takeaway), an entrepreneur\u2019s focus should be to make a product or service you like and would use.&nbsp;<\/li><li>You can always learn something from other people because everyone you meet can do at least one thing better than you.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\">Overcome obstacles with an entrepreneurial spirit:<\/p><ul style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\"><li>80% of the battle is the product. You can evangelize a good product, but it\u2019s tough to evangelize a bad one.<\/li><li>Put your product out there as soon as possible; you\u2019re either selling, or you aren\u2019t.<\/li><li>Once you\u2019re on the shelf, it\u2019s a matter of revising. How quickly can you fix the mistakes that might have occurred?<\/li><li>If all else fails, just don\u2019t take no for an answer and keep grinding. (Easier said than done.)<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\">Setting crazy versus realistic goals:&nbsp;<\/p><ul style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\"><li>Apple\u2019s first goal likely wasn\u2019t to build a billion-dollar company; it was a more realistic goal.<\/li><li>Many companies fail, and many have big goals. After all, if big goals were easy to achieve, everyone would do it.&nbsp;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Aspirations and dreams of success are great, but building an actionable framework produces the momentum to get you there.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\">The future of entrepreneurship:<\/p><ul style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\"><li>Because of many factors, the barriers to entry in entrepreneurship are getting lower.<\/li><li>Many younger people are getting the entrepreneurship bug. It\u2019s difficult to determine if the field is skewing lower, but (luckily) aspiring entrepreneurs don\u2019t need to worry about that.<\/li><li>Instead, focus on the things that can impact you and your success.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\">Guy\u2019s advice to younger entrepreneurs:<\/p><ul style=\"font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;letter-spacing: 0.2px\"><li>You&#8217;re either a psychopath, or you experience self-doubt. Every single entrepreneur, from Steve Jobs to Ray Kroc, felt self-doubt.
