How California REALTORS\u00ae Fought Wildfires<\/a>
\nBetter Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wine Country Group took out ads in five local publications offering office space for recent wildfire victims to work or charge their electronics. They also recently collected more than 200 Halloween costumes that were given out this week to children whose families lost their homes. \u201cThe families may have nothing, but at least we could give their child a costume to enjoy one night,\u201d says President Randy Coffman.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to a survey of Chinese-Americans by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and the Asian Real Estate Association of America, up to 79 percent of Chinese-Americans reported that they would be willing to pay more for a house if it was built to feng shui standards. \nHudson Yards, a neighborhood currently under development on Manhattan\u2019s West Side, is in the process of transforming from an industrial zone to an entirely new neighborhood. The 10 Top Emerging Trends That Will Shape Real Estate in 2018<\/a>
\nIn its annual predictive report, the Urban Land Institute predicts a relatively smooth ride for the immediate future of the real estate market. The 2018 Emerging Trends in Real Estate report, a joint project between ULI and PricewaterhouseCoopers researchers, compiles more than 800 individual interviews and 1,600 surveys from a diverse array of real estate, economic and development professionals. The consensus of real estate experts and analysts surveyed by ULI views a \u201csudden drop in altitude\u201d is highly unlikely. Growth trends and an economic tailwind suggest an expansion of the current cycle amid larger structural shifts in real estate.<\/p>\n
