1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Which of our BHGRE<\/strong>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0P.A.I.G.E. (Passion, Authenticity, Inclusion, Growth, Excellence) core values do you identify with most, and why?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Inclusion. Not only is it part of my job title, but I truly believe that diversity and inclusion is the future of real estate and life in general. As I was growing up, I always felt that I was different, never being able to identify with one group. Back then, it was something that I always struggled with and had identity issues since I could never find out who I really identified with. Now, I feel that being different is a strength. Being diverse and inclusive is also just the right thing to do.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What are your favorite qualities in a customer?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Nobody is the same. Everyone has their own communication style; everyone has their own expectations. Clients that are able to articulate what the expectations are and explicitly state what their communication style were my favorite.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is the one characteristic that\u2019s helped you the most in your career?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Being honest with yourself and being honest with your client, even if the news is good or bad.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What was the last book you read?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The book I am re-reading for fun is \u201cRise of the Creative Class,\u201d although my favorite book of all time is \u201cThe Little Prince.\u201d Le Petit Prince \u2013 I mean, \u201cGrown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it\u2019s tiresome for children to always and forever explaining things to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you were not in real estate, what would you be doing?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I can\u2019t imagine a life not doing real estate. It\u2019s been in my blood.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What was the last song you heard that you couldn\u2019t stop humming?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Despacito, although I can\u2019t speak Spanish.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Who is your real-life hero?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I have several, but my living real-life hero is Ron Phipps, Past-President of NAR. He\u2019s one of the reasons why I\u2019m involved as a Realtor and passionate about what I do.<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is your favorite motto?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cDon’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” \u2013 Albert Camus<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you could sell a home in any market in the world, where would it be?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I\u2019d sell a home where I know the market in and out. I\u2019d be too nervous to represent someone and try to sell real estate where I don\u2019t know anything! That being said, I\u2019d love to know and sell in an area where there\u2019s a beach!<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0 What advice would you give your younger self starting out in real estate?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I started off in real estate right before the crash in the late 2000\u2019s\u2013 so be patient, seek out mentors, and learn from the best. Life won\u2019t be given to you on a silver platter but a little bit of luck and a little bit of patience \u2013 you\u2019ll do just fine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
