Since all measurements are equalized as a function of percentage of gross revenues, these types of views effectively measure how well managers create profit and manage valuable resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For multi office companies that desire to go into more depth in analyzing branch managers to determine individual &#8216;ranking&#8217; (essentially quartiling\/segmenting the managers) against one another&#8217;s performance, the following approach is offered. The model below presents a reasonable way to analyze and compare results across offices of varying sizes by measuring year over year change in results. In the example, managers are compared in their ability to grow in four KPI (Key Profit Indicator) characteristics over time (other measurements can be substituted<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bhgrecareer.com\/bebetterblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2009\/01\/managergrowth.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1318 aligncenter\" title=\"Measuring Office Manager Effectiveness\" src=\"https:\/\/bhgrecareer.com\/bebetterblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2009\/01\/managergrowth.jpg\" alt=\"managergrowth\" width=\"424\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bhgrecareer.com\/bebetterblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2009\/01\/managergrowth.jpg 605w, https:\/\/bhgrecareer.com\/bebetterblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2009\/01\/managergrowth-300x204.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bhgrecareer.com\/bebetterblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2009\/01\/managergrowth-100x68.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">(Click for larger image)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><!--more-->Each branch manager\/leader is <em>ranked by <\/em>year-over-year positive growth in;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Return on Revenue (ROR)<\/li>\n<li>Gross Commission Income (GCI)<\/li>\n<li>Net change in Sales Agent count (# SA), and<\/li>\n<li>Per Person Productivity (PPP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">An overall ranking is performed by first taking the sum of ranks for each manager and then determining the manager&#8217;s overall ranking among the entire group of office leaders. Note that although manager #9 ranked in the number one spot overall, their performance in &#8220;# SA Hire\/Retain&#8221; ranked 11<sup>th<\/sup> out of 11 (subtracting the newer offices that have no trending). Obviously, the four characteristics in this example are non-weighted and the introduction of weighting could offer benefits.
