\n<\/a>Residential real-estate prices climbed at a slower pace in the year through January than a month earlier, indicating momentum in the housing market may be cooling.

Housing Recovery Needs More Than Warmer Weather
\n<\/a>As warmer weather arrives, home sales should heat up. But the thaw may be less than bullish housing investors are hoping for.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

New-Home Sales Fell 3.3{0a8e414e4f0423ce9f97e7209435b0fa449e6cffaf599cce0c556757c159a30c} in February
\n<\/a>New-home sales fell in February, the latest sign of severe weather and rising mortgage rates slowing the housing recovery. Sales of newly built homes fell 3.3{0a8e414e4f0423ce9f97e7209435b0fa449e6cffaf599cce0c556757c159a30c} to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 440,000 from a month earlier, the Commerce Department said Tuesday.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Forbes <\/em>wrote a great piece based on our survey,\u00a0The Homes Boomers Will Retire\u00a0In<\/a>, with expert insight from Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, and Patrick Jones from\u00a0BHGRE Sonoran Desert Lifestyles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our survey findings were encouraging, because remember, this was a generation hit hard during the recession, and this commitment to lifestyle planning and desire for their \u201cdream home\u201d is a great show of optimism.<\/p>\n
