Chris will strengthen Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate\u2019s support of New Story by serving a one year term as an advisory board member where she will provide strategic counsel and assist with the non-profit\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, we believe that a safe and sustainable home is the foundation of a person\u2019s health and happiness,\u201d said Chris. \u201cI am honored to have been selected for this opportunity and I look forward to furthering our brand\u2019s commitment to this cause and strengthening our support of New Story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate recently began a campaign to help New Story raise money to transform a rural shack slum in Ahuachap\u00e1n, El Salvador into a beautiful, sustainable and safe community. The residents of Ahuachap\u00e1n currently live in dilapidated tent structures, which makes living conditions dangerous and harmfully impacts individual health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>One hundred percent of donations to New Story raised through the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate campaign will be directly applied to the construction of the homes in Ahuachap\u00e1n.
